Landen is a senior at The Oakridge private school, where he is the Vice President of the student council executive board, student ambassador, peer support program leader and founder of Gratitude Grove. During his years in school, he has held the office as treasure of student Council, member of the Black Student Union, Varsity football, Varsity Track, Varsity soccer and wrestling. Landen has also excelled in orchestra playing the cello for the last eight years.

He is seen as a community leader who demonstrates empathy by his parents, peers, and teachers. Landen founded a program titled Gratitude Grove, wherein a different peer is selected every week to receive a supportive note and encouragement for a variety of reasons. Additionally, this curriculum includes a teacher component, which helps to build and strengthen a solid community. Landen contributed to the creation of the Oakridge school's Peer Support Program. This program offers outreach to all students and focuses on the mental health of teenagers. The goal of this initiative is to reduce the number of potential suicides. Both programs will live on after he graduates.

Krypton Solutions awarded Landen an internship where he tests and construct motherboards for Tesla and NASA. Only Landen was granted this privilege as a high school intern. The opportunity will continue into his tenure in college.

Landen enjoys listening to technology podcasts and building customized computers in his spare time.  Being a leader in the community and always giving your all are things that Landen takes great pride in. After receiving multiple college offers, Landen has decided to attend school on the West Coast, where he will major in artificial intelligence and minor in psychology.
